Caregiver's week: a time to honour and celebrate

Caregivers' Week, initiated by the Professionals Networking for Caregivers (PNC), is officially recognized by the government of Quebec as the first week of November.
Caregivers' Week is intended to:
- Celebrate and honour caregivers
- Further public awareness about caregiving issues
- Promote social, individual and government action
- Encourage public policy reform
- Offer a diversity of special activities for caregivers throughout the week
November 2009: An exciting multitude of activities! Instead of hosting a Resource Fair this year, the PNC has decided to reach out to caregivers in a number of other ways.
- The PNC is thrilled to be an active partner in the Not Superheroes Campaign, led by the Care-ring Voice Network. Not only is the campaign an excellent vehicle for sensitization, but highlights resources for caregivers and promotes Caregivers' Week activities happening throughout Montreal and beyond.
- The PNC will be hosting a multitude of “local” activities throughout Montreal during Caregivers' Week. Check out what's happening in your neighbourhood!
- November 3, 2009 will be the official public launching of Caregivers' Week. Get all the exciting details about this unique event.
